Our 31st honeymoon

Garth and I go away every October to celebrate our marriage to each other on October 11th, 1976. Every year since then we have gone someplace special in October. Our trips have varied from a High Uintah mountain hiking trip to a weekend in a plush hotel. We have stayed at Bed-and-Breakfasts in British Columbia, Austria and Tyler, Texas. This year we stayed at a cabin on the McKenzie River in west-central Oregon. It used to be the place where fire ranger lived. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet...the river flows, the pace is slow and we had lots of time to read, walk and nap. Garth fished some, I finished two books and it rained. Lovely.
